Roles of a Ranger

Lost in Forestville had the honor of creating Roles of a Ranger for Re:wild, a global wildlife organization founded by Leonardo DiCaprio. It was an honor to partner with conservation leaders alongside artists hailing from Brazil, Uruguay, China, Canada, Sweden, Poland, Nederlands, and USA.

Wildlife rangers are our unsung heroes that heal and protect. They study and protect the environment, rescue wildlife, and preserve cultural and historical places. Through chaotic conditions, harsh weather, and catastrophic fires, rangers are first in line to respond to environmental and human induced threats.

Roles of a Ranger is the second episode in this 5 part animated Ranger series. The series is featured in the Force for Nature, an app for international wildlife rangers to help connect, educate, and support each other. Together, they offer a glimpse into the broad scope of ranger life and impact – who they are, what they do, why it matters – and how we, as citizens of the planet, can support, honor, and empower these vital frontline workers.
