Erika Lutz (she/they) is a heart-centered artist, designer, and storyteller who brings 20+ years of experience nurturing healthy hearts and minds through playful curiosity, creativity, and mindfulness based learning.

Formerly VP of Design at Lumosity, Erika’s creative leadership and design produced top-ranking mobile apps that have helped over 100 million people nurture healthy minds through play. Her design and direction of kids apps, educational games, and broadcast television have earned Emmy Award-winning recognition. See You on the Other Side, the most recent educational program Erika directed, was featured in Press Democrat, NPR, and CISC Educational Leadership Summit.

Erika received her BFA from VCU School of the Arts in Communication Arts & Design, where she later taught experimental animation and experiential storytelling. She holds a certificate in Ecopsychology from the Pacifica Graduate Institute and has been trained as a professional coach from Within, Everwise, and Simplified Coach. She is certified as a UC California Naturalist and in Leading Creative Ideation from Cooper U. She has studied Restorative & Racial Justice with Stronghold and is currently in Mindfulness Teacher Training with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield at UC Berkeley's Greater Good Science Center & Awareness Training Institute.

Erika now lives in rural northern California where she designs experiences rooted in mindfulness, interconnectivity, and stewardship for her creative studio, Lost in Forestville.
